Prodigy Audio NBM1000.5 1000 Watt 5-Channel Amplifier is a compact South Korea built mini chassis amp designed for shoppers who want to power a full system from one amplifier without giving up sound quality, tuning control, or install flexibility. Sold by AudioSellerz.com, this full-range digital 5-channel amp is built to deliver excellent sound quality and performance in a compact chassis. Prodigy rates it at 100 watts x 4 + 250 watts x 1 at 4 ohm, 130 watts x 4 + 400 watts x 1 at 2 ohm, 500 watts x 1 at 1 ohm on channel 5, and 260 watts x 2 + 250 watts x 1 bridged at 4 ohm.
One of the biggest strengths of the NBM1000.5 is that it gives you real flexibility for a clean all-in-one install. Prodigy says channels 1 through 4 are stable into 2 ohm stereo or 4 ohm bridged, while channel 5 is stable into 1 ohm mono. They also list a high speed MOSFET power supply, variable high pass filter, x10 high pass filter for channels 3 and 4, x10 low pass filter for channels 3 and 4, bandpass capability for channels 3 and 4, and a variable subsonic filter. That makes this amp a strong option for daily drivers, sound quality builds, and installs where you want one amplifier to handle speakers and a subwoofer cleanly.
Prodigy also built in useful features that make setup easier in the real world. The NBM1000.5 includes a remote bass knob with voltmeter, temperature display, and clipping, along with a high purity copper printed circuit board and 4-way protection circuits for high and low voltage, temperature display, and clipping indication. On the technical side, Prodigy lists a frequency response of 10Hz to 23KHz for channels 1 through 4 and 11Hz to 260Hz for channel 5, input sensitivity from 6V to 0.2V, signal-to-noise ratio greater than 92dB, and total harmonic distortion under 0.1% at 4 ohm.
Install-wise, this amplifier stays compact for what it offers. Prodigy lists 4 gauge power and ground terminals, an 80A fuse rating, and dimensions of 12.20" L x 4.87" W x 2.13" H. If you want one amp that can cleanly run mids, highs, and a subwoofer without taking up a ton of room, this is a really smart Prodigy option.
