The Ruthless Ultra 15 and Ruthless Ultra 18 were designed for people who do not want to compromise on power, control, or durability. With advanced staged cooling and inductance control built into the design, this subwoofer is made to deliver serious bass while helping keep temperatures in check when the system gets pushed hard.

Rated at 4500 watts RMS, the Ruthless Audio Ultra Series is available in dual 0.7 ohm and dual 1.7 ohm configurations, giving you flexibility when matching the final load to your amplifier and system goals. A big part of what makes the Ruthless Ultra Series 15" and 18" stand out is the cooling system. Stage 1 uses a machined aluminum pole sleeve for heat wicking and inductance reduction. Stage 2 adds an aluminum domed compression cap for increased cooling and improved linearity. Stage 3 brings in a finned aluminum extrusion that cuts inductance dramatically while maximizing thermal dissipation. The result is a Ruthless Ultra subwoofer that is built to stay more controlled and consistent at higher output levels.

The motor and suspension are built for serious use. This sub features an open column FEA-optimized motor design with ultra-high flux density and a 4" diameter 4-layer voice coil for durability under heavy load. A kraft pulp fiber reinforced cone, dual-layer wide foam surround, and 5-layer progressive soft spider pack help the sub stay stable and controlled while moving a lot of air. The extra heavy-duty aluminum basket and wrap-around gasket help complete a structure built for hard use.

The Ruthless Audio Ultra Series subwoofer also uses 144-count tinsel leads that are double-sewn to the spider pack, along with heavy-duty stitched hybrid lead or push/hybrid termination depending on configuration. Every part of this sub is aimed at high-output performance and real-world strength.
