How Much Power Can the Brand X 80Ah LTO Battery Support?

Brand X rates this 80Ah LTO battery for systems producing up to approximately 20KW peak in burp-style builds. For musical systems, it is intended to support approximately 14–16KW peak when paired with at least 400 amps of alternator output.

Actual system support depends on alternator output, engine RPM, charging voltage, wiring, grounds, amplifier efficiency, impedance, playing time, and the condition of the complete electrical system.

Using less alternator output may reduce the amount of power the battery can reliably support. Additional alternator output and battery capacity may be required for longer musical demonstrations or systems with heavier continuous current demand.

Requires a 15–16 Volt Charging System

This is not a drop-in replacement for vehicles that charge in the standard 13.8–14.8-volt range. The Brand X 80Ah LTO battery requires a properly configured charging system capable of maintaining at least 15 volts.

Before ordering, confirm the vehicle has the correct high-output alternator, voltage control, external regulator, or other approved charging equipment.

Do not purchase this battery with the intention of operating it below 15 volts. Do not allow the charging system to exceed 16.8 volts.

Brand X Battery Warranty

This battery includes a 36-month prorated manufacturer warranty covering the battery itself. The warranty does not cover amplifiers, alternators, wiring, chargers, or other equipment connected to the battery.

Operating or charging the battery below 15 volts will void the warranty. Battery swelling caused by improper discharge or recharge may place the battery into the manufacturer’s lowest prorated warranty tier, regardless of how long the battery has been owned.

Proper charging, voltage monitoring, installation, and system maintenance are the customer’s responsibility.
