This high output alternator is sold in the standard factory color unless custom powder coating is selected before checkout. Product photos may show a custom color or finish for example purposes only. If you do not select custom powder coating, your alternator will be built and shipped in the standard factory finish.

This alternator is hand-built, bench tested, and shipped after production is complete. Average build time is typically 2-4 weeks before shipment. Because each alternator is built to order for your vehicle and application, it does not ship immediately after purchase.

Please make sure all vehicle information, amperage options, plug type, and any custom options are selected correctly before placing your order.

If you need a stronger charging upgrade for your Toyota 2.0L or 2.5L setup, this Brand X high output alternator is built for 2018-2024 Toyota Camry, RAV4, and Corolla applications that need more current for car audio, added accessories, and higher electrical demand. This is a bolt-on, plug and play alternator designed for these Toyota applications.

Please select the correct engine size and style before ordering so you get the right fit for your vehicle. Output options include 150 amp, 180 amp, 200 amp, 250 amp, 275 amp, 300 amp, and 320 amp versions, giving you multiple choices depending on how much charging support your build needs.

For stock idle rpm, 275 amps is the recommended maximum. Anything over 275 amps may require an idle rpm adjustment or a larger crank pulley. Brand X notes that 300+ amp alternators on these newer cars can cause bogging at idle and low idle voltage because the factory spring tensioner is weak, not because of a problem with the alternator itself. For the most reliable setup with no modification required, 250 amps or less is the recommended choice.

Important Installation Notice
A Big 3 upgrade is required when installing a high output alternator. Factory wiring is not designed to support the increased current demand of a high amp alternator or heavy duty alternator upgrade. Failing to upgrade the charging and ground wiring can create excessive heat, voltage drop, and alternator damage, including rectifier failure. Damage caused by improper wiring or failure to complete the Big 3 upgrade is not covered.
