Sky High Car Audio BMX Series 15" Subwoofer – 2500W RMS High-Excursion Monster
Sold by AudioSellerz.com
The Sky High Car Audio BMX Series 15" Subwoofer is built for bassheads who want serious cone area, massive excursion, and real musical power handling in a true 15 inch platform. Rated at 2500W RMS, the BMX 15 is designed to live on big Korean monoblocks and survive long demo sessions when the electrical and enclosure are done right.
At its core, the BMX Series uses a 3" 8-layer high-temperature voice coil and a triple-stacked Y35 ferrite motor with an aluminum shorting ring, pole vents, and (4) drilled and tapped backplate holes. That combo delivers strong motor force, better cooling, and options for custom bracing or external cooling solutions in extreme builds.
Mechanically, the 12", 15", and 18" BMX subs share the same high-excursion design with about 32mm of one-way Xmax and around 39mm Xmech, supported by a 10" stacked spider pack spaced for durability and linear control. Under the hardened paper cone, a fiberglass-reinforced cone support and carbon-style dust cap work together to keep the cone rigid at peak output, reducing flex and keeping the bass tight even at insane volume.
Connection and cooling are no afterthought—4-gauge push terminals allow heavy-gauge wiring, and a tooled SHCA magnet boot finishes everything in a clean, all-black stealth look that fits right in with serious show and demo builds.
Available in dual 1 ohm (D1) and dual 2 ohm (D2), the BMX 15 is perfect for loud daily ported boxes, 4th/6th order walls, blow-throughs, and demo rigs where you want big cone area and serious motor strength without stepping into 3k–5k RMS sub prices.
