The Sky High Car Audio E-Series CCA 1/0 Gauge Wire gives customers an affordable way to purchase a complete 50-foot spool for amplifier power wiring, matching ground cables, battery connections and other properly planned car audio electrical projects.

This E-Series cable uses copper-clad aluminum conductors and is manufactured 10% larger than minimum AWG requirements. A flexible PVC-silicone-blend jacket helps make the cable easier to route through vehicles while protecting the conductor from normal installation wear.

Each purchase includes one continuous 50-foot spool in the selected color. This is not a split spool containing multiple colors.

CCA and OFC Are Not the Same

This product is copper-clad aluminum wire, commonly shortened to CCA. It should not be treated as electrically identical to the same gauge of oxygen-free copper wire.

The correct cable depends on the amplifier’s actual current demand, total cable length, charging voltage, fuse rating and how the vehicle will be used. Larger amplifiers, long cable runs and high-current electrical systems may require OFC wire, multiple cable runs or a larger conductor.

Installation Recommendations

• Match the wire size and material to the amplifier’s actual current demand.
• Use the same gauge and material for the amplifier’s power and ground cables.
• Install properly rated fuse protection near the battery on positive amplifier power runs.
• Use terminals that correctly fit oversized 1/0-gauge cable.
• Make secure crimps with no loose conductor strands.
• Protect the cable anywhere it passes through metal.
• Keep the wire away from sharp edges, moving parts and excessive heat.
• Use a clean, solid chassis-ground location with bare metal-to-metal contact.
