Sky High Car Audio CCA 18 Gauge Speaker Wire 700ft Spool
Sold by AudioSellerz.com.
The Sky High Car Audio CCA 18 Gauge Speaker Wire 700ft Spool is a budget-friendly speaker wire option for car audio installs, shop use, factory speaker replacement, tweeter wiring, smaller speaker runs, mids and highs wiring, and general speaker wire routing. This large 700ft spool gives installers, shops, and DIY builders plenty of wire for full-vehicle wiring jobs and repeated installs.
This is 18 gauge CCA speaker wire, also known as copper-clad aluminum speaker wire. CCA wire is a more affordable option than OFC copper wire, making it useful for customers who need a lot of speaker wire for lighter-duty speaker applications, especially where extreme current handling is not required.
The 18 gauge size is commonly used for tweeters, smaller speakers, factory replacement speakers, full range speaker wiring, and mids and highs systems where the speaker wire needs to be easy to route through doors, dashes, kick panels, pillars, rear decks, trim panels, and tight factory wire paths.
If you are building a speaker system, this wire pairs naturally with car audio tweeters, full range car audio speakers, car audio midrange speakers, and a properly matched 4 channel car audio amplifier.
Key Features:
- Sky High Car Audio CCA 18 gauge speaker wire
- 700ft spool for large installs, shops, and repeated wiring jobs
- Copper-clad aluminum construction
- Budget-friendly speaker wire option
- Easy to route through doors, panels, dashes, and tight interior spaces
- Great for tweeters, smaller speakers, factory replacement speakers, and general speaker wiring
- Useful for mids and highs wiring where oversized speaker wire is not needed
- Available in Blue/Black, Green/Black, and Red/Black color options
Why Use 18 Gauge Speaker Wire?
18 gauge speaker wire is a practical choice for many lighter-duty car audio speaker runs. It is easier to route than larger speaker wire, which makes it useful when working through factory door boots, pillars, dashboards, kick panels, motorcycle fairings, UTV panels, speaker pods, and other tight areas.
This wire is a good match for tweeter wiring, factory speaker replacement, smaller full range speakers, and general mids and highs wiring where the system does not require heavy speaker cable. For larger speakers, higher-power midrange drivers, midbass speakers, or long high-current speaker runs, you may want to step up to a larger wire size.
If you are not sure what size speaker wire or power wire your system needs, read the Audio Sellerz car audio wire gauge and fuse guide before finishing the install.
CCA Speaker Wire:
CCA stands for copper-clad aluminum. It is commonly used when customers want a more affordable wiring option for lighter-duty speaker runs. While OFC copper wire is the better choice for maximum conductivity and higher-demand installs, CCA speaker wire can still be a useful option when the application matches the wire size and power level correctly.
This is important because not every speaker wire job needs oversized OFC cable. If you are wiring tweeters, smaller speakers, factory replacement speakers, or lower-current speaker locations, this 18 gauge CCA spool can help keep the install affordable while still giving you plenty of wire to route the system cleanly.

700ft Spool for Shops and Big Wiring Jobs:
A 700ft spool is ideal for installers and customers who need a lot of speaker wire on hand. Instead of buying short pieces over and over, this spool gives you enough wire for multiple vehicles, complete speaker rewiring jobs, custom panels, speaker pods, rear speaker runs, tweeter wiring, and future installs.
This makes it a strong choice for car audio shops, installers, custom builders, and anyone who regularly works on speaker wiring. Having extra wire also lets you route the install correctly instead of stretching wires too tight or taking shortcuts through bad paths.
Great For:
- Tweeter wiring
- Factory speaker replacement
- Smaller door speaker wiring
- Full range speaker wiring
- Mids and highs systems
- Rear deck speaker wiring
- Speaker pods and custom panels
- Motorcycle, UTV, and powersports speaker wiring
- Large vehicle rewiring jobs
- Shop and installer use
- Budget-friendly car audio speaker installs

Build the Speaker System Correctly:
Speaker wire should be matched to the speaker, amplifier power, wire length, system layout, and application. This 18 gauge wire is best used where lighter-duty speaker wiring makes sense. Do not use small speaker wire as a replacement for proper amplifier power wire, ground wire, or high-current electrical wiring.
When installing speaker wire, use clean connection points, avoid loose strands, route wire safely, and keep the wire away from sharp metal, moving parts, seat tracks, window tracks, heat, and pinch points. Clean speaker wiring helps make the system easier to service and easier to troubleshoot later.
If you are building a louder mids and highs system, make sure the amplifier and speakers are matched correctly. A properly installed 4 channel amplifier with correct wiring and tuning can make a major difference in how clean and loud the speaker system plays.
Installation Notes:
Before cutting wire, plan your amplifier location, speaker locations, routing path, panel clearance, door boot access, and connection points. Leave enough extra length for clean routing and serviceability, but avoid leaving loose wire where it can rattle, snag, or get damaged.
When routing through doors, make sure the wire does not interfere with windows, locks, hinges, airbags, moving parts, or factory harnesses. When routing through the vehicle, protect the wire from sharp edges, seat brackets, trim clips, heat, moisture, and areas where panels may pinch the wire during reassembly.
If you are also wiring amplifiers, batteries, fuse holders, or grounds, make sure the power side of the system is planned correctly. For more install help, read the Audio Sellerz car audio grounding guide.
