This alternator is hand-built, bench tested, and shipped after production is complete. Average build time is typically 2-4 weeks before shipment. Because each alternator is built to order for your vehicle and application, it does not ship immediately after purchase.

The 2025+ Honda Civic 1.5L Turbo Engine 200-325 Amp Brand X High Output Alternator is a direct fit alternator replacement for 2025 and newer Honda Civic models equipped with the 1.5L turbo engine. This Brand X alternator is built for Civic owners who need more charging power for upgraded car audio systems, amplifiers, subwoofers, lighting, lithium batteries, AGM batteries, and other electrical upgrades.

This alternator uses 120mm standard small case modifications and is available in multiple amperage options, giving you the ability to match the charging output to your build. Whether you are running a daily sound system, upgraded mids and highs, a bass setup, or a more demanding car audio electrical system, a high output alternator gives your Civic a stronger charging foundation than the factory alternator.

This alternator will require a smaller belt to be used. Please keep this in mind before ordering and during installation.

Available amperage options include 180 amp, 250 amp, 280 amp, 300 amp, and 320 amp versions. The 180 amp and 250 amp units have idle output around 150-160 amps at 600-700 idle RPM. This idle RPM is the turn-on RPM for the alternator.

The 280 amp and 300 amp units have idle output around 160-170 amps at 700-800 idle RPM. This idle RPM is the turn-on RPM for the alternator. Please verify your vehicle’s idle RPM before purchasing the 280 amp or higher units. If your vehicle does not idle high enough, you may need a reflash of the car’s computer for higher idle RPM.

A high output alternator is one of the most important upgrades for a serious car audio build. When your factory alternator cannot keep up, you may deal with voltage drop, dimming lights, weak amplifier performance, battery strain, and inconsistent system output. Upgrading to a Brand X high output alternator helps support better voltage stability and stronger charging performance.

Important Installation Notice
A Big 3 upgrade is required when installing a high output alternator. Factory wiring is not designed to support the increased current demand of a high amp alternator or heavy duty alternator upgrade. Failing to upgrade the charging and ground wiring can create excessive heat, voltage drop, and alternator damage, including rectifier failure. Damage caused by improper wiring or failure to complete the Big 3 upgrade is not covered.
