This high output alternator is sold in the standard factory color unless custom powder coating is selected before checkout. Product photos may show a custom color or finish for example purposes only. If you do not select custom powder coating, your alternator will be built and shipped in the standard factory finish.

This alternator is hand-built, bench tested, and shipped after production is complete. Average build time is typically 2-4 weeks before shipment. Because each alternator is built to order for your vehicle and application, it does not ship immediately after purchase.

Please make sure all vehicle information, amperage options, plug type, and any custom options are selected correctly before placing your order.

If you need a direct plug and play charging upgrade for your 2012-2015 Honda Civic 1.8L, this Brand X high output alternator is built to deliver the extra current needed for car audio, added accessories, and higher electrical demand. This alternator is made for Civic 1.8L applications that use the single pin LIN plug.

This alternator is available in 200 amp, 250 amp, 275 amp, 300 amp, 320 amp, and 350 amp versions, giving you multiple options depending on how much charging support your build needs. Idle output is rated at 170+ amps at 800+ rpm, and peak output is rated at 1800+ engine rpm. These ratings are based on a stock crank pulley with the included overdrive pulley.

Important Installation Notice
A Big 3 upgrade is required when installing a high output alternator. Factory wiring is not designed to support the increased current demand of a high amp alternator or heavy duty alternator upgrade. Failing to upgrade the charging and ground wiring can create excessive heat, voltage drop, and alternator damage, including rectifier failure. Damage caused by improper wiring or failure to complete the Big 3 upgrade is not covered.
