This high output alternator is sold in the standard factory color unless custom powder coating is selected before checkout. Product photos may show a custom color or finish for example purposes only. If you do not select custom powder coating, your alternator will be built and shipped in the standard factory finish.

This alternator is hand-built, bench tested, and shipped after production is complete. Average build time is typically 2-4 weeks before shipment. Because each alternator is built to order for your vehicle and application, it does not ship immediately after purchase.

Please make sure all vehicle information, amperage options, plug type, and any custom options are selected correctly before placing your order.

If you need a direct fit high output alternator for your 1990-2003 Honda Accord 2.2L or 2.3L, this Brand X alternator is built to give you the charging power needed for car audio, added accessories, and higher electrical demand. These are direct fit replacements for 2.2L and 2.3L Honda Accord applications.

Small case units use cast frames like stock and include an extension bracket for a direct bolt-on replacement of your factory alternator. Large case units use billet machined cases and are built to replace your stock alternator as well. Included is a bypass harness to bypass the ELD / PCM control of the factory charging system so the alternator charges at 14.8v. Some applications may require an additional harness for direct plug and play operation, and instructions are included in the box.

This alternator is available in 200 amp, 250 amp, 275 amp, 320 amp, and 350 amp small case variants, along with 270 amp, 370 amp, and 400 amp large case variants. Small case idle output at 800+ rpm is 170-180 amps, while large case idle output is 210+ amps at the same rpm. That gives you multiple options depending on how much charging support your setup really needs.

Important Installation Notice
A Big 3 upgrade is required when installing a high output alternator. Factory wiring is not designed to support the increased current demand of a high amp alternator or heavy duty alternator upgrade. Failing to upgrade the charging and ground wiring can create excessive heat, voltage drop, and alternator damage, including rectifier failure. Damage caused by improper wiring or failure to complete the Big 3 upgrade is not covered.
