Sundown Audio Dual 8" Sealed Enclosure

Custom built enclosure specifically for the Sundown Audio 8" subwoofer. Specifications:

• 3/4" (18mm) birch plywood construction
• Solid 1" (24mm) baffle for ultimate strength
• 3/4" (18mm) center baffle brace
• 13 ply birch veneer construction (1" Baffle 17 ply)
• Gray stained finish
• Pre-wired metal binding post with 10ga OFC wire

Lead time is 2-3 weeks, no refunds once enclosures have been cut out! This is a custom made box specifically for a Sundown Audio 8" subwoofer. At Basshead Supply the goal with the "performance series" enclosures is to offer subwoofer specific enclosures that are well built, well performing and good looking enclosures at an affordable price. Using premium 3/4" Russian Baltic Birch we are able to achieve a very strong and light enclosure. Using our refined assembly process produces an enclosure with NO visible screw holes anywhere on the enclosure. The entire enclosure is glued together with Titebond III and coupled with our 1" baffle and an additional 18mm baffle brace (on the dual subwoofer models) the enclosure is strong enough to handle subwoofer setups up to 2000W RMS (dual enclosures - 4000W RMS). Finished off with our carbon gray stain and a polyurethane finish these enclosures have a unique look to set it apart from all the generic prefabs. Complete with a recessed Satin Nickel Brass binding posts and prewired with OFC 10g wire, you are ready to go the moment it arrives. These are also built with love, by hand right here in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
