Trim Ring Removal Instructions

Note: The trim ring enhances aesthetics and is functional for securing the surround. Removing it without following proper instructions may void the manufacturer’s warranty.

  1. Tools Needed: Phillips screwdriver, pliers, heat gun, pry tool, and PPE.

  2. Step 1: Unscrew the 4 screws securing the ring; use pliers if adhesive prevents easy removal.

  3. Step 2: Use a heat gun to loosen adhesive, and carefully pry the ring free with minimal force.

  4. Step 3: Handle the ring with care when hot, and reattach with screws hand-tightened only.
