The QSX692 coaxial speaker is a 6-inch by upgrade from factory speakers. Coaxial speakers reproduce a wide range of audio frequencies by combining a midrange woofer and tweeter into one door speaker. Factory car audio systems usually include either 6.5? or 6? by 9? coaxial door speakers. Common sizes make replacing your vehicle?s factory door speakers an easy and affordable do-it-yourself car audio upgrade.
This ?door swap? project involves removing the door panels and factory speakers. Once you have the old speakers removed, simply replace them with the new ones. Not all door speakers are coaxial. Some models have a component speaker set in the front and coaxial speakers in the rear doors.
